SUNDAY NIGHT
I'm so happy this is a SNF game. We are dominant on Sunday nights, having won 1 in a row. I don't see how the Giants can hope to stop us. Seriously, it will be interesting to see how we play. All it takes is one good game or win and a team changes the way it feels about something. The Giants owned us when Reid first go here. They won 7 or 8 straight. Maybe more. The exact number isn't important. We beat them on a MNF game in 2001 and that ended the streak. We then beat them 7 of 8, with the only loss being with Feeley in OT.
Against CHI we proved we could win a close game on Sunday night. Now we need to show we can win a blowout on Sunday night. How's that for a balance of logic and wishful thinking?

This is likely to be our final game at Giants Stadium. They could host us in a playoff game, but that probably won't happen. There are good and bad memories at Giants Stadium. I don't have time to go back and list 'em all. I'll throw up a couple of games from the Reid era.
2001 - We beat the Giants 10-9. MNF game. McNabb hit Thrash for a TD late in the game. That ended our losing streak to them. McNabb has basically owned the Giants ever since that game.
2003 - Donovan played very poorly due to a hand injury. We trailed 10-7 late in the game. They punted to Westy. He ran it back for a TD and we won 14-10.
I was going to list the famous Herm Edwards play, but I can't recall where that was played.

The Chargers are driving. LT is running well and Rivers is on the money with his downfield throws. Good start to things.
If DeMarcus is down for a long period of time their defense will fall apart fast.
DeMarcus Ware is definitely the key to the DAL defense. It was good to see him moving around and giving the thumbs-up. I hate him because he's an evil Cowboy, but I don't wish injuries on any players.
WAS is up 24-13 on Oakland. That's good for us. The Skins play DAL and NYG in coming weeks. I'd like WAS to have some confidence in those games.
17 -10 SD. 4 minutes to go with the Chargers driving. I'm lovin' it.
I'm nervous as heck, but very excited.

This game is all but in the books. Dallas will drop to 8-5. We're all alone in first place for at least one hour!!!
I think the Saints look less invincible as the season goes on, but they have to be as confident as can be with all these close victories.
The Vikings were downright dominant today. Yikes.
And Green Bay is starting to pick up steam. There won't be any easy Playoff games, that's for sure.
Ok, San Diego gift wrapped this for us. Don't ef it up. Manning stinks in bad weather.
I can't figure out this New Orleans team... One thing I do know though, is that they're clutch.
We've been getting better and better each week lately and winning close games. I'm hoping we put it all together today and come out dominating.
I'm glad DeMarcus is gonna be ok. Great player, hate his team. Since it did happen though, hopefully their D falls apart. Their O struggles still. They rely on big plays too much.

I'm glad the Giants had a little success. I didn't want us getting too hot too fast. We've been known to let up in some situations like that.

Every now and then Nick Cole does some really dumb things. Very odd. Why would you not block Kiwi?
Also, not a bad time for McNabb to take off running - looked pretty open to his left vs. dumping it to Weaver three yards downfield on 3rd and long.
I feel like we're great with our pre-game design and often come out hot. We seem unstoppable, and then either the D catches on or we try and do something a little different. I want us to find something that works and keep doing it. I'm still don't think we have a strong identity on offense.

it's nice to have akeem back and and it's nice to have trot playing pretty well so far. We've had some miscues in the secondary. LE is a bit of a problem but if McKenzie's down that may change. I'd love to see Chris Clemons get hot like he did around now last year. holding them to a FG before half would be great
The D is struggling. NY has 251 yards so far. The good news is that they only have 10 points. They are in scoring position, but maybe we'll make a play.
Trotter is not getting off blocks.
MLB is hurting us. I hope they give Jordan more time in the 2nd half, assuming his knee is holding up okay.
That shotgun draw play is killing our D. Dallas ran that pretty well against us this year as well.

If the game is going to be a shootout it is a good thing that the offense showed up the way they did.

I hope we don't wind up needing that blocked PAT. Also, why is it always our games where we learn about dusty rules like "a fumble as the clock expires at the end of the half is not reviewable" and "an untouched errant snap is not a fumble?"

Vick is playing well. He's helping himself and us with his improved play. Let's hope he keeps it up.

I was really hoping the D made some good adjustments. Doesn't look that way.
This defense is disgraceful. This has the feel of a game that we're going to let slip away. Good to see that we can stop the run. Or pressure the QB. Or make a play in the secondary. They're a bunch of ass-clowns.
This definitely feels like one of "those" games.

Reffing is pretty bad this game. But the great Trent Cole can make tackles even when he is being held.

I don't mind the Giants running the ball now. 5 minutes and the clock is ticking.. Huge lucky play for the Giants right now. Eli was sacked with a FF there.
This game is going to drive me insane.
We really needed to keep them out of the end zone until after the 2 min. warning. I don't want them to be able to use that as a defensive timeout.

They can still score, but the 2-min. warning is gone. That hurts their ability to stop the clock if/when we get the ball back.

Unbelievable. We could take a bunch of guys off the street and stand them on the field every time the Giants offense gets the ball and we'd have the same result.

Tommy, the offense was amazing today, but the defense was absolutely atrocious.
I cannot feel good about the defense basically letting the Giants score a touchdown on every single possession.
I mean, wtf? Last week they looked so good and this week it's as if they all decided to just get high before the game and zone out.
Great win but can we stop the run up the middle going forward is the big question.
Also, I think, without a doubt this is the craziest Giants-Eagles game ever played.
But seriously, this defense was WTF.
The sad thing is: if we had the 2008 defense and the 2009 offense we would be maybe the best team in the NFL right now.
