The Eagles waived ... CB Trae Williams, CB Jack Ikegwuonu, DE Bryan Smith, DE Josh Gaines, LB Tank Daniels, FS Reshard Langford, WR Danny Amendola, RB Lorenzo Booker, C Dallas Reynolds, G Paul Fanaika, G Mike Gibson, TE Rob Myers, FB Marcus Mailei and FB Kyle Eckel. These players are now subject to waivers.
The Eagles released ... DT Dan Klecko, LB Matt Wilhelm and TE Matt Schobel. These players are now unrestricted free agents.
The Eagles placed QB Michael Vick on the Exempt/Commissioners Permission List. He will not be able to practice as long as he's on this list. He is eligible to play in Week 3 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Eagles placed OT Fenuki Tupou on injured reserve.
Let me put some thoughts together on what went down.

I was kinda hoping Matt Schobel made it just to see if there was any bite to your bark ;)
I sent nude photos of myself to Andy Reid and told him I'd continue sending them every day that Schobel stayed on the roster. That's the kind of threat that works.

Very disappointed with Bryan Smith and Jack Ike. Oh well. I guess both were "gambles" in a sense.
I think DanAm is in danger of being signed away from us. He had a good preseason and showed quick moves after the catch. That could be valuable for a team needing a 4th or 5th WR. If we didn't already have a 4th and a 5th WR, he'd probably be "that guy" for us.
